We are looking for an Scala Developer for one of our customers: a Scale Up German company who provides and develop digital tools for sales, aftersales, analytics, and marketing to put car sales professionals into their customers’ pole position. Leading mobility manufacturers, development partners, and thousands of car dealers all across Europe already trust in our client´s team on their path to peak performance. 

Your Tasks: 

• Providing solutions to complex problems related to our modular web platform with an agile team of software developers  
• Working on a microservice oriented architecture and streaming data components written in Scala based on Akka, MongoDB Atlas,  PostgreSQL and Kafka 
• End2end responsibility for continuous delivery and for running the platform in an AWS based Kubernetes cluster Your Profile: 
• You have a computer science or natural science degree or equivalent vocational training and work experience 
• You’re passionate about software development and have already mastered an object-oriented or functional programming language  and are proficient at developing with it  
• You have at least some years of experience in developing web applications and working with databases  
• Knowledge of the following technologies is a plus: Scala, Akka, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes 

Languages: 

▪ English (Fluent written and spoken is mandatory) 

▪ German or Italian knowledge is an advantage
