Sr. Business Development Manager Romania, RE

We are looking for an Sr Business Development Manager Romania for one of our customers: a global player in the field of renewable energies, which develops, designs, builds, and manages plants that generate clean energy. Moreover, they provide highly specialized energy management and downstream services to both energy producers and consumers and use their know-how to manage third-party assetsfrom a technical and operational perspective. 

The role: 

• Identify development PV and BESS project opportunities within the territory of Romania. 
• Contract management of potential DSA (development service agreements) and SPA (share purchase agreements) • Good knowledge of the development process for PV and BESS projects in Romania. 
• Negotiate and manage local partnerships with key reputable local developers under DSA 
• Project assessment according to boundaries of the Irish market, project evaluation as per legislation and connection  point as per grid capacity and availability in order to minimize the risk of projects successfully interconnected. 
• Monitor country market dynamics and regulatory environments to inform investment decisions 
• Working with the company’s matrix functions including Structured Finance, M&A, Legal, EPC, Energy Management, PPA,  etc 
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, best-practice development of processes and tools for business development activities  in general 

Your Profile: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering + MSc 
• 5+ years’ experience in leading a project development team in BESS or solar PV projects in Romania, including land  acquisition, environmental permits, grid connection, etc 
• Engage, lead, motivate and inspire teams to success 
• Intrinsically motivated and energetic attitude 

Languages:
